About the Author
Merlin’s Secret starts off with a young man in 2019, who lives in the London Borough of Bromley, in Kent. I grew up in Bromley in the 1950/60’s. I went to Ravenswood School in Bromley Common before qualifying and going to the College of Estate Management in Kensington, London, where I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1967.
I started work in the real world at Noys and Howes a firm of Estate agents in Sydenham, South London, where I joined Rotary International.
Eventually the company came to be as sole proprietor in 1980. I subsequently merged the business into Levens of Bromley, and became a partner. That company was eventually sold and became part of Hamptons International. I remained in the business until 2000 when I retired and the company became part of the present ownership of Kinleigh, Folkard and Hayward.
I moved to Lakewood Ranch in Florida. I call it my paradise in 2010 as a snowbird and in 2016 became a permanent resident.
